Return on Investment for Your Article Marketing Efforts

By: Gen Wright
We have seen savvy Internet Marketers make millions with many different traffic sources, such as Adwords, social bookmarking traffic and so on. Whichever traffic source that's used, all Internet Marketers are only concerned about one thing, and that's return on investment. Here's how to make your online marketing work.

When we talk about return on investment, we're not just talking about getting our money back (and the profits) one or two years down the road. That strategy is never going to work for a small business owner because the pockets are just not deep enough. Of course, if you have millions to spare, you can afford to do so. Even then, it's risky to put up so much money upfront for some promise so far down the road.

So experienced online marketers are very particular about earning back their money, plus profits, somewhere in the near future. Doesn't matter if it's just five dollars or ten dollars. They want to make it back in a matter of days, at most weeks, and not in years. Why is that so important?

Because by getting back their money quickly, they can reinvest their profits and scale their businesses. More profits mean more marketing dollars and their business can just keep growing. Those with large margins can really dominate the market just by adopting this simple strategy.

So when looking at article marketing, I highly encourage marketers to look at this tactic in similar perspective. For example, if you're going to invest five dollars to hire someone to write and submit an article for you, how fast can you make that five dollars back? From our own tests and experiences, you can make your investment back in two to six weeks time, depending on various such as quality of article, and where you submit the articles to.

However, the most amazing thing about article marketing is that you can see return on investments up to 300% or more. That's because writing and submitting an article is a one time thing. Once that is done, the traffic is long term. So if your article gives you six visitors a month, you're going to get an average of six visitors a month for many months to come. That's far better than buying clicks, where once you stop the advertising, the traffic comes to a standstill.

Article marketing, therefore, buys a lot of time for the Internet Marketing in the long term. If enough articles are submitted, it's almost impossible to stop the traffic pouring in. Now you have a reliable traffic source that you can count on month after month. Whether you want to scale up your efforts is completely up to you.

So you can begin to imagine what kind of profits article marketers have been making. Once you see the results from article marketing, you'll most likely be addicted to writing and submitting articles because the return on investment is just too unbelievable in the long run.

If you're not into article marketing already, I strongly urge you to take a closer look at this traffic generation source, and integrate it into your overall traffic building strategy as quickly as you can.
